At Randolph-Macon, he majored in political science, minored in literature, and played football for the school. Spencer lives in Hanover County with his wife Courtney, their two young children, and their two Labrador Retrievers. Outside work, his hobbies include fishing, boating, camping, snowboarding, sporting clays, as well as anything else that can keep him outdoors.
