Daniel Gasink focuses his practice on Wills, Trusts, and Probate, dedicating his career to helping individuals and families navigate some of life’s most important and sensitive decisions. With more than twenty-five years of experience, Dan has assisted over a thousand clients in addressing concerns about how their estates will be managed and in developing strategies to minimize the impact of taxes and administrative costs. He is particularly mindful of the desire many families have to preserve what they have built and ensure a smooth transition for future generations. Dan’s academic journey began at William and Mary, where he majored in History, minored in Religion, and earned a teaching certificate. After graduation, he spent time teaching high school social studies in Hampton, an experience that reflects both his ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and his genuine interest in helping others learn. He later returned to William and Mary to earn his Juris Doctor, building on his strong educational foundation and preparing for a career centered on service and advocacy.
He resides in Williamsburg with his wife, Ginny, and their children, and values the opportunity to remain closely connected to both his family and his community. Outside of his legal practice, Dan enjoys playing music and is actively involved in volunteering with his children’s Scouting America troops. These interests reflect his commitment to community engagement and to spending meaningful time with his family.
Dan remains an active participant in the legal profession and has been recognized for the quality of his work and his professional contributions. He is a member of the Virginia State Bar, where he participates in the Trusts and Estates section, as well as the Williamsburg Bar Association.
