About

 Maggie is an associate attorney working with Attorney Spencer Baxter, where she focuses on Estate Planning and Estate Administration. She assists individuals and families in creating thoughtful, comprehensive plans to protect their assets and provide clarity for the future. 

Education: 

Maggie received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, with minors in German and Law, Justice, and Society, from Washington and Lee University in 2021, where she was a member of the Varsity Equestrian Team. 

She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2025. During law school, she served on the ABA Real Property, Trust & Estate Law Journal and worked in the school’s Domestic Violence Clinic, gaining valuable experience in both legal scholarship and client advocacy. 

About Margaret O’Berry: 

Originally from Virginia Beach, Maggie recently relocated to Richmond following her graduation from law school. She enjoys exploring her new city and traveling with friends and family whenever she can. In her free time, she is also an avid reader and loves to spend time in the kitchen baking.
